Philip Bosserman    

1775-1849

Philip was born on 16 Jan 1775 in Reading Township of York (now Adams) County Pa.  the tenth born child of Johann Michael and Christina (Dierdorff) Bassermann.   Like the rest of his siblings he was born on the original farm or Bosserman homeplace in America.

In Oct 1798 Philip married Beulah Williams, a daughter of Nathan and Catharine Williams.   She was born on America's first Independence Day 4 July 1776  in Juniata, Pennsylvania. 

Philip and Beulah lived and raised their family of nine children in the area of Newport, Perry Co. Pa.   Beulah died on 15 March 1831 and is buried beside the Old Stone Presbyterian Church at Newport, Perry County Pa.    Philip died on 16 Jan 1848 and is buried beside his wife.
