Note - The family was members of the Dunkard Church. In
1850 they were on the census of Adams Township,
Darke County Ohio. Michael lost his wife in 1844
and he then remarried while still in Ohio. He
had three children by his first wife and fifteen
more by his second wife. Six of those died in
their infancy, one from the first marriage and
five by the second.
