Christian Landis family reunion. (Descendants
of Christian LANDIS & Catherine MINNICH)
WHEN: Sunday, September 1, 2013 at 12:00 noon
(Ohio time).
WHERE: Shelter House No. 2, Greenville City
Park.
Shelter House opens at 12:00 noon and we will
eat at 1:00 p.m. (Ohio time).
DETAILS: Please bring covered dished (to share)
and your own drinks, tableware, etc.
GENEALOGY: Please bring updates to your family
tree for births, marriages, deaths, etc.

Anniversary Hess Family
Reunion
Descendants of Uriah and Armina (Pearson) Hess will
gather Sunday, October 10, 2010 at 12:30 pm at the
Mote
Park Building, 635 Gordon Street, Piqua for a potluck dinner.
Bring food to share and your own table service.
In 1860, at the age of ten Uriah Hess traveled by wagon
to Ohio from Uniontown, Maryland with his parents John and Barbara Hess.
In the 1870’s they settled in the Pleasant Hill area of Miami County.
Uriah and Armina Hess had twelve children with nine living to
adulthood. Surnames in that
generation include Morris, Hoke, Faulknor, Swank, and McClure.
Their first reunion was held August 22, 1907.

2010 JFA and JAY FAMILY REUNION
October 15-16, 2010
Troy,
Ohio
The Jay Family Association has scheduled its annual reunion for Friday
through Saturday, October 15 &16 in Troy, Ohio.
2009 was the first year our Association held a gathering in Ohio.
Due to the wonderful response and turnout, we decided to visit once
again!!!! There will be a full day of
activities at a variety of historic locations on Friday.
Saturday will bring a few Jay Family presentations, news of a new book on
the JAY family, photo sharing, visiting and meeting new cousins. The
reunion which is sponsored by the Jay Family Association is open to all Jay
family descendants, allied family members and anyone else who has a love for
family history and a great time!
