    and 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.

    The local history room is located on the second floor and currently has available over 2,200 vertical files covering family names, local businesses, organizations, and events. Also of use to researchers are sets of the Piquonian (the local high school yearbooks) as well as Piqua city directories and Sanborn maps. Microfilm records available include Miami County land and property deeds, Miami County Military Discharge records, assorted county birth, marriage, and death records as well as indexed Ohio census records from 1820 to 1880. We also hold Piqua cemetery records and indexed Miami County marriage records from 1807 to 1865 and 1874-1888. A unique resource is the indexed listing of members of the Piqua Female Bible Society from 1818- 1969.
