DINSMORE,
WILLIAM H. - Services for William Herbert Dinsmore, 83, of Troy, father of Susie
Dinsmore of Tipp City, were conducted Jan. 3 at 11 a.m. in the West Charleston
Church of the Brethren by the Revs. George Harvey
and John Tschetter. Burial was in Bethel Cemetery. Mr.
Dinsmore, a Bethel Township native and lifelong Miami County resident, died Dec.
30 in Stouder Memorial Hospital,
Troy. A dairy farmer, he owned Dinsmore Jersey Farm and was a member of
the West Charleston Church of the Brethren, the Miami County Farm Bureau, and
was a 4-H leader. A school bus driver for 41 years for Bethel Local
Schools, he had received the Million Mile Award. He is survived by a son, Wayne
Dinsmore of Somerset, Ky.; the daughter in Tipp City and three other daughters,
Betsy Shoup of San Jose, Calif., Sarah Andrasik of Gulf Breeze, Fla, and Becky
Davidson of Carbondale, Ill.; three brothers, Robert and David Dinsmore of Tipp
City and Stanley Dinsmore of Dayton; and a sister, Clara Henrick of Troy.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha E. Dinsmore, Nov. 30, 1989;
and by one brother and two sisters. Memorial
contributions may be made to the American Lung Association. Funeral arrangements
were completed by the Trostel, Chapman and Christmas Funeral Home, New Carlisle.
