Farmer Summoned While Doing Chores

George Hooper Stricken Last Evening-Funeral Services Thursday Afternoon.

George W. Hooper, well known Newberry Township farmer, who lived just North of the cemetery at Covington died very suddenly 
last evening while doing the chores.

His daughter Merl had been assisting him with the evening work by went to the house to prepare supper, leaving him to finish. 
When supper was ready she called him by received no response, and a few minutes later found him dead.

The funeral service will be held Thursday afternoon at 1:30 at the home with Rev. Omer S. Thomas officiating. Interment will 
be made in Highland Cemetery with Geo. W. Miller as funeral director.
