Esther Caroline Weisheit, daughter of Adam and Caroline Weisheit, was born at Dayton, O., on October 2, 1901; she departed 
from this earth into the sleep of death at her home in Covington on the morning of October 14, 1929-having reached the age of 
27 years, 11 months, and 18 days, lacking only eight days of her 28th birthday.

On March 24, 1925, she was united in marriage with Jesse Garman, who still survives.

She was preceded in death by her father and one brother. Of the immediate family there live, the husband, her mother, Mrs. 
Christ(?) Goeckleman, and the following brothers and sisters: Jacob Weisheit of Cleveland; Adam Weisheit of Covington; 
William Weisheit of Columbus; and Mrs. Eugene Mammon of Cleveland. Many other relatives and a host of friends are deeply 
grieved over her death while yet in prime of life.

Esther was baptized in infancy. In her girlhood days she attended Sunday School and catechecal instruction at the Lutheran 
Church. On June 25, 1929, she was received into membership of St. John's Lutheran church by the solemn rite of confirmation. 
This was a voluntary act on her part, and she seemed comforted by this confession of faith in God and his church.

Mrs. Gorman had been unwell for the past twelve months. She gradually became worse as time went on. The ravages of disease 
had fastened a strong hold upon her physical body. She suffered intensely at times. Her body became very thin and weak and 
she fell peaceably into sleep of death on Monday morning.

Esther was a fine housekeeper and took great pride in her home. She was a kind neighbor and a faithful wife. She will be 
greatly missed by the family and neighbors. "I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep; for thou, Lord, only makest me 
dwell in safety."
