Former Pleasant Hill Resident Dies at Union.  Rites For Wife of Ott Sleppy Will Be Held. Formerly Resided On Trost Farm Near Pleasant Hill.  Mrs. Clara Sleppy, wife of Ott Sleppy, passed away this morning at 1:00 o'clock at her home in Union. She had been ailing for twelve weeks and was confined to her bed two weeks with cancer of the bowels. She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Katherine Knife, Mrs. Joe Stine, of Union and two sons, Glenn and Earl who resided at home, her mother, Mrs. Mary Trost, five sisters and four brothers all of Pleasant Hill and vicinity. Mr. and Mrs. Sleppy resided for a number of years on the Trost farm east of Pleasant hill, moving from there to Union. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
