Aged Resident Passes Away

Mrs. Elizabeth Kreighaum Simes, aged 68 years, passed away at the local hospital Saturday evening after being a patient there for the past four weeks. She is well known by Covington residents, being a teacher in the grand school here for a number of years and a member of the Miriam Quartette, being a talented singer. She was a member of the Christian Church and was interested and out worker in the church. She had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Joe Martz at Newton Falls for several months.

She leaves her daughter and five year old granddaughter. Her husband preceded her in death two years ago.

Funeral services were conducted this afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the Christian Church, Rev. Thomas officiating. Burial was made in Highland Cemetery, George Miller, funeral director.
