Catherine Rosina Arthur, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. L. T. Arthur, was born at Montezuma, Ohio, October 29, nineteen hundred and seven. She left her
loved ones Saturday evening October 19th, nineteen hundred and twenty nine at the age of twenty-one years, eleven months and twenty days.
Her childhood days were spent in Montezuma and Celina, Ohio. At the age of fifteen she came with her family to make her home in Covington. On
Easter Sunday in nineteen hundred and twenty four she was confirmed in the Lutheran Church in which she remained a member.
The first two years of her high school work was done in Celina, Ohio, she then entered the Covington High School and was a member of the
nineteen hundred twenty five class, but due to ill health could not finish her school work.
The rest of her life has been spent trying to regain her health. A short time she spent in the Sanitorium in Cincinnati, in nineteen hundred and twenty six,
was taken to the Hendrix Laws Sanitorium at El Paso, Texas, where she spent the next three years with the exception of the three months she spent
with her family in Los Cruces, N. M. In September of nineteen hundred twenty eight she came back to her home, and spent the remainder of her life
with her family. Patiently she bore her suffering and with a smile and cheerful word she greeted her many friends.
She leaves to mourn her loss her father, mother, two brothers, James and Lewis, and only sister, Betty June and many relatives and many friends in
Celina, Montezuma, El Paso, Texas and Covington.
