October 3, 1929. If he would have lived until the 28th day of this month, he would have reached his 71st year.

Their home was blessed with 2 sons, the oldest dying in infancy. In the year of 1902, he with his wife and son joined the Christian Church of this place, which he was a faithful member and attender, as long as his health permitted.

His death is mourned by his faithful companion, his son Ray and the daughter-in-law. 2 Brothers, Joseph and Samuel Zimmerman of Pleasant Hill and one sister Mrs. Emma Westfall of Covington, Ohio, besides a host of relatives and friends.
