Nancy Ann (Johns) Nicodemus was born Feb. 8th, 1848, at Piqua, Ohio. She departed this life Jan. 11, 1929, at the age of 80 years, 11 months and 3 days.

She was united in marriage to William Nicodemus, April 4, 1867. She was united with the Christian Church at North Clayton in 1885, and remained an active and consistent member until called by death.

She leaves her husband, William Nicodemus, one sister, Sarah Jane Hays, of Piqua, Ohio, one brother, James E. Johns, of Richmond, Indiana, and many relatives and friends to mourn her departure.

We the immediate relatives of the deceased desire to express our heartfelt thanks for the many expressions of sympathy we have received from friends of our departed wife and sister. Especially we do wish to thank Rev. Freeman of his kind words of consolation and encouragement. Mr. Miller, the Undertaker for the effort lent and kindly manner in which he conducted the funeral, the singers(?) and all kind friends who have assisted us in any way.
