Barbour Rites Held Today
Robert
A. Barbour, 76, passed away at the Stouder Memorial Hospital at 5:00
o'clock Friday evening of heart disease from which he had been suffering for
some time but which did not become serious until Wednesday and he was removed to
the hospital on Thursday.
Mr.
Barbour was born in Concord Twp. where he engaged in farming for a number of
years, later becoming a valued employee of the Troy Sunshade Co.
His
survivors include his widow, Mina, a sister, Mrs. Laura Burks of Kansas City, a
brother Ed Barbour of Canada and a niece Mrs. Herman Bayer of Covington.
Funeral
services were conducted at 2:00 o'clock this afternoon from the residence and
interment was made in Riverside Cemetery.
