Funeral
Services Are Held Today
Funeral
rites were held this afternoon for Mrs. Alice Sinks, of Union, Ohio.
She was the mother of Mr. Charles Sinks, of Ludlow Falls, Ohio, and is
survived by other sons and daughters. Several
years ago Mrs. Sinks underwent an operation and has suffered illness since that
time. However, she was able to be out and around, and as recently
as Wednesday, preceding her death. Saturday
last, she visited the son in Ludlow Falls, seeming reasonably well.
She had made all her own funeral arrangements, requesting that she be
laid to rest late in the afternoon of her burial day, and that the services for
her be based upon the Twenty Third
Psalm, and from the Roy Miller undertaking home in West Milton.
Hymn preference, "Now the Day is Over," was accordingly used by
Rev. W. A. Freeman, who conducted
the rites. Burial was made in the
Minnich cemetery, located on the Phillipsburg Pike.
