 Gettysburg Woman Dies Wednesday

 Mrs. Mary Lucille Smith, wife of Elva Smith, of Main St., Gettysburg, passed away at 3:00 o'clock Wednesday morning in the Greenville hospital, having been a patient there for 17 days suffering from streptococci infection.

 Mrs. Smith was thirty-four years of age and was a former resident of Covington, being the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Alexander.  She leaves to mourn her loss her devoted husband, Elva who is an employee of the Westerville Creamery company, two sons, Robert and Richard, an infant, her parents Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Alexander of Greenville, one sister, Mrs. Harry Anderson and her father and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Renzo Smith of Bradford.

 Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the Presbyterian Church in Gettysburg with Rev. Thompson of Middletown officiating.  Interment will be made in Harris Creek Cemetery.
