Carl C. Ehrhart, Versailles, Dies

Versailles, O. - Carl C. Ehrhart, a leading tobacco buyer in Darke County and President of the Ehrhart Leaf Tobacco Company, died at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday in his home here of heart disease.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the Versailles Christian Church, with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Mr. Ehrhart started in the tobacco business in 1896. The local tobacco company is one of the largest in Ohio. He is survived by his widow, Anna; four sons, John of Bucyrus, Myron, Henry and Clarence, all of Versailles, two daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Feree(?) of Anderson, Ind., and Mrs. Bessie Houseberg, Galion; one brother, Ora of Yorkshire, and one sister, Clara Davidson, Vandalia.
