Jacob Bowman Dies Monday
Jacob Bowman, retired farmer passed away Monday afternoon at four o'clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Charles Ingle on East Walnut Street, where he was removed about ten days ago.
Mr. Bowman lived a long and useful life having reached the age of ninety years. He was a member of the Covington Presbyterian Church and a member of the Blude Lodge of Greenville and of the Chapter in Covington.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. A. P. Lehman of Greenville and Mrs. Lorena Ingle of Covington, two sons C. H. Bowman of Ansonia with whom he resided until recently and J. E. Bowman of Dayton, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 1:30 at the Ingle home and at 2:00 o'clock at the Presbyterian Church with Rev. Donald E. Mitchell officiating. Interment will be made in Highland Cemetery in charge of Walter E. Routzahn.
