Stroke Proves Fatal To Horace Stolz
Horace Stolz, 61, farmer residing at 104 Harrison Street in Troy, and employed by M. A. Gantz, county surveyor, died at Stouder Memorial hospital at 7:30 o'clock Friday evening after a short illness. Mr. Stolz suffered a stroke of paralysis in his home about 5:30 p.m. and was rushed to the hospital. He failed to respond to medical treatment, however, and died two hours later. Mr. Stolz was born near Greenville but had lived in Miami county nearly all his life. He removed to Troy seven years ago. Besides his widow, Mrs. Edna Stolz, he is survived by 11 children, Leonard of Christiansburg, Harold of Vandalia, Lester of Tippecanoe City, Elmer, Mrs. Faye Davis, Carl, Mrs. Evelyn Jackson, Mrs. Edith Motter, Forrest and Miss Donna Stolz, all of Troy, and 16 grandchildren. Funeral service were held at 3 o'clock this afternoon from the late residence and burial was made in Pleasant Hill cemetery.
