Mrs. Gilbert F. Fryling
(nee Emma Estella Anderson)
Her circle of friends was saddened today to learn of the death of Mrs. Gilbert F. Fryling, 80 years of age, soon after three o'clock this morning at her home 355 Riverside Drive, where she had lives since coming to Piqua to reside 35 years ago. Mrs. Fryling had been in failing health for the past several years but it was not only a week ago to day that her condition warranted her being confined to her bed and her death was unexpected. Emma Anderson Fryling was born near Fletcher on December 15, 1852, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Anderson. On August 9, 1868, she was united in marriage to Gilbert F. She was a valued member of the Green Street M. E. church and was beloved by her neighbors and many friends. Left to mourn their loss are her husband, an adopted daughter, Mrs. R. W. Bender of 355 Riverside Drive, and three grandchildren, Barbara, Margaret, and James Bender. Funeral services will be held from the late residence at two o'clock Friday afternoon with burial at Fletcher.
