Thomas Jefferson Anderson died Monday at his home five miles northwest of St. Paris from cancer of the liver. He had been in failing health for a long time but was only confined to his bed two weeks. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock (sun time) Wednesday afternoon in Charity Chapel with Rev. Mr. Cain of Conover officiating. Burial will take place in Fletcher cemetery. Mr. Anderson was born in 1849 on a farm near St. Paris. He spent his entire life in that vicinity with farming as his occupation. Mr. and Mrs. William Anderson, now dead, were the parents of the decedent. Surviving are one daughter, Miss Ora Anderson, who resided with her father, one son, Harry Anderson, living on a farm nearby, and two brothers Henry and George Anderson of Ballou.

Thomas Jefferson Anderson, aged 75 years, died Monday evening at 8 o'clock at his home five miles northwest of St. Paris. The deceased was born on July 78, 1849, and death was caused by cancer of the liver. He is survived by a son Harry, who with his family lives on a farm nearby and a daughter Ora, at home. Two brothers, Henry and George Anderson of Ballou also survive. Funeral services, in charge of Rev. Cain, pastor of the Universalist church of Conover, will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock (slow time), from the Charity Chapel. Burial will follow in the Fletcher cemetery by Bert Richeson, funeral director of St. Paris.
