Henry Duer retired farmer, and highly respected citizen of Fletcher, died Sunday afternoon after an illness of two months which had been aggravated by a heart ailment. Mr. Duer was born in Monroe, Indiana on September 26, 1886 and was 72 years old at the time of his death. Survivors included his widow, Mrs. Jennie Wilgus Duer; two daughters, Mrs. Neva Brockway, of West Palm Beach, Florida, and Mrs. Oscar Kah, of Sidney; a son Lester Duer, also of West Palm Beach; and one brother, Albert Duer, of Monroe, Indiana. He was a member of the Fletcher Presbyterian church. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2pm from the Suber Funeral Home, Fletcher, Rev George Brewer officiating. Burial will be in the Fletcher cemetery. The body may be viewed at the late home Tuesday and Wednesday until noon.
