Sidney, Aug 6,-- Funeral for John E. Dorsey, former Shelby countian who died Friday in Cleveland, will be held Monday at the Dearth funeral home at 10:30a.m. Interment will be made in Graceland cemetery, Sidney. His death occurred at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Hammond Kirkpatrick, who survives with his other children, Harry and Edward E Dorsey, of Oklahoma; William Dorsey, of Ware, Mass, and Mrs. Besse Bales, of Cleveland, Charles M Dorsey, of Green Township, and Samuel M Dorsey of Pemberton, are brothers.

John E Dorsey, formerly of Shelby county, died in Cleveland today, and the remains are being brought back here for funeral and burial. His death occurred at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Hammond Kirkpatrick, 812 Fairview avenue, Cleveland, where he had been residing for some time. A son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Snowden T Dorsey of this county, he spent the greater part of his life here following the vocation of farming, residing in Green township. His surviving children are; Harry and Edward E Dorsey, of Oklahoma; William Dorsey, of Ware, Mass, Mrs. Besse Bales, Cleveland. There are also seven grandchildren and two brothers, Charles M Dorsey, of Green Township, and Samuel M Dorsey, of Pemberton. The remains are being brought to the Dearth funeral home for funeral rites there Monday morning at 10:30 o'clock and interment will be in Graceland cemetery. The remains will arrive in Sidney Sunday morning.
