Forrest Spitler, 34, employee of the Allen-Wheeler Mill at Eldean, passed away at the Stouder Hospital in Troy at 2:50 Sunday afternoon. Mr. Spitler had suffered since Friday a week ago with influenza which developed into pneumonia last Friday, when he was conveyed to the hospital. The deceased had been a resident of Eldean for three years moving to that village from a farm near Arcanum, Ohio. Surviving besides his widow are four small children, a son and three daughters of Eldean, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Spitler of near Arcanum, and two sisters, Mrs. Ira Ackerman of near Arcanum, and Mrs. Hayes Frey of Casstown, besides a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at the Joe Irvin Funeral Parlors at 2:00 o'clock. Interment in Highland Cemetery at Covington.
