Former Resident Dies Sunday At City of Marion Christian Belser Dies at Daughter's Home at Age of Ninety-Two- funeral Services Here on Wednesday Afternoon. Mrs. Christian Belser, formerly a resident of Covington, passed away Sunday noon at the home of her daughter Mrs. Anna Mary Shoemaker in Marion following an extended illness due to her advanced age and complications. Funeral services will be conducted at the home in Marion Tuesday evening after which the body will be brought to Covington where services will be conducted at the Church of the Brethren. Rev. J.O. Click will be assisted in the services by Rev. Canfield pastor of the Church of the Brethren at Marion. Interment will be made in Highland Cemetery. Mrs. Belser had reached the advanced age of 92 years, and 11 months, and was the widow of John M. Belser, formerly a merchant tailor in Covington. She was born at Harrisburg, Pa. on July 28, 1839. She is survived by five children: George Belser of Crestline, Joseph Belser of Bellefontaine, Anna Mary Shoemaker of Marion, Mrs. Catherine Shepherd of Dayton, and William Belser of Marion. four sons and two daughters have preceded her in death. Her husband died 30 years ago.
