Prominent Resident Called Home Early This Morning After Brief Illness. Mrs. Adda Darst of E. Walnut St., passed away this morning at 5:30 o'clock following an illness of several weeks due to complications of diseases, she was 75 years of age. The deceased is the last immediate surviving member of the Darner family a prominent pioneer family of this vicinity. Mrs. Darst was a faithful member of the Presbyterian Church and of the Dorcas Bible Class and the Foreign Missionary Society, and will be greatly missed among these groups and a wide acquaintance of other friends in the community where she has always resided. Surviving are three sons, Harold at home, Holden of North Carolina and Lester of Akron. Miss Lucie Purdy is a niece and number of more distant relatives also survive. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Darner, and husband David Darst and four sisters, Mrs. Lora Reisner, Mrs. Otto Bartmess, Mrs. ??? Purdy, ?? and Mrs. Jesse Minton have all preceded her in death. Funeral services are incomplete and will be announced in tomorrow's paper.
