Long Illness Ends Friday Evening
Mrs. John Noll
Expires Friday After Long Illness. Rites Held Tuesday Afternoon at 2:30
An extended of a year's duration ended, Friday evening about 8 o'clock when Mrs. Clara Noll, wife of John Noll passed away at her home, 5 miles southwest of Pleasant Hill. Her death was attributed to anemia and a liver disorder. For several weeks during her illness she was a patient at the Piqua Memorial Hospital where she submitted to special treatments and blood transfusions. The fatal disease refused to yield to any medical treatment and terminated in her death after a long period of suffering. She was 58 years of age. The deceased had lived her entire life in the community where she was born and has numerous friends and relatives who are saddened over her death. Immediate survivors include the husband, Mr. John Noll and five children, Glenn of near Pleasant Hill, Mrs. Mildred Shafer of Tippecanoe City, Orville of Dayton, Herman of Pleasant Hill, and Dorothy at home; a sister, Mrs. Lulu Coppock of New Paris; two brothers, Walter of Pleasant Hill and Charles of Montana, and 5 grandchildren. Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Congregational Christian Church where she worshipped for a number of years. Rev. W. G. Kershner officiated. Interment was made in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery under the direction of E. E. Geeting.
