Mrs. Chas. Bizer
The death of Mrs. Chas. Bizer, formerly Miss Etta Thompson, occurred at the home of Mrs. Joel Thompson, her mother, on Canal street, on last Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 19th, 1898. Mrs. Bizer in her girlhood united with the Presbyterian church of this place and after her marriage on January 26, 1896, removed her church connection to Piqua Presbyterian church, in whose membership she remained until her death. Since last summer she has been in failing health. After the death of her sister, Mrs. Mary Kerr, she returned to her mother's home, and has since been confined to the house. During her illness she manifested an extraordinarily cheerful Christian disposition, and looked forward to her decease with comfort and peace. The family has the sympathy of the community in their bereavement. The funeral services were held at the family residence, on Saturday morning, Revs. Chas. Herron, Dr. T. L. Hughes and I. O. Royal officiating. Interment was at Piqua. Mr. Chas Bizer, desires to thank his friends for the many kindnesses shown to his wife during her sickness and to himself after her decease.
