Hannah Isabel Albery
Hannah Isabel Albery was the daughter of Mary (Teeter) and Hezekiah Fowler. She had one sister Caroline Fowler, two half sisters, Mrs. Mina Lent and Mrs. Delia Tucker, a half brother Roy Deeter all of whom have preceded her in death. She was born at Union City, Indiana on June 18, 1853, and at the age of 8 came to Sugar Grove where her mother was remarried to Michael Deeter. Her marriage to Richard Milton Albery took place on Dec. 22, 1872. To this union six children were born, Martin, Moris, Richard F., Mary, Esther, and Mabel of whom Richard is the only surviving member. Mr. and Mrs. Albery located south of Covington where they lived until they retired from the farm and bought the Rueben Deeter property on the corner of Bridge and High Streets. The death of her husband occurred Dec. 29, 1927. Those who are left to revere her memory are the son Richard, his wife Margaret, grandsons Richard, George and Max, granddaughters Maribelle, Esther and Alice, and other relatives. Mrs. Albery enjoyed travel greatly and made many trips of interest. She and her husband visited California during the winter of 1912, and she took an extended trip on the Mediterranean Sea and European countries in 1913 Including Norway and Sweden......
