William Sinks
Stroke of Paralysis End In Death of Wm. Sinks- Funeral Rites Set For Tuesday. Mr. William Sinks, prominent Miami County farmer, passed away at his home east of Pleasant Hill on the Troy Pike Sunday morning at 4 o'clock following a brief illness. The deceased suffered a stroke of paralysis two weeks age and his condition remained critical until the time of his death, He was 83 years of age. Besides the widow, Mrs. Mollie Sinks, the survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Flora Thompson of Pleasant Hill and Mrs. Sarah Schantz of Troy and a son Mr. C.O. Sinks of Troy. Three brothers and several grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the late residence and interment will be made in Nashville Cemetery under the direction of E. E. Geeting.
