Mr. Andy Schmidt passed away Saturday at 12:30 o'clock at the home of his son Mr. Gus Schmidt following and illness due to complications. For the past nine years he has made his home with his son and family where he passed away. Immediate survivors of the deceased include two sons, Mr. Gus Schmidt and Mr. Richard Schmidt of Springfield and three grandchildren and one great grandchild. A sister Mrs. Claude Sowry of Laura also survives. Funeral services will be conducted at the Roy. H. Miller funeral home on West Milton Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Interment will be made in the Riverside Cemetery in West Milton.
