Death of
MRS. JOHN TROWBRIDGE
The unexpected death of Mrs. Mary Anne Trowbridge, Sunday evening about 5:15 o'clock, came with a shock to her children and friends, especially because of the recent death of her husband Mr. John Trowbridge, on Oct. 26, a little over three weeks ago. Mrs. Trowbridge became very ill on Saturday with what seemed to be irritation of the gall duct and although a physician was called, nothing could be done to relieve, and she passed away on Sunday evening. Mrs. Trowbridge was born in Preble county on Oct. 2nd, 1859 and was sixty-seven years of age. She was Miss Mary Anne Long. After her marriage she spent the greater part of her life in Darke county, coming to Covington about four years ago, where she lived just across the street from her daughter, Mrs. Draving, on North Pearl Street. Mrs. Trowbridge was formerly a member of the Beach Christian Church, but the funeral services will be held at the Church of the Brethren, in Covington, Rev. C. F. McKee officiating, Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock. Burial will be made in Forrest Hill Cemetery, Piqua.
