Rosa Marie Longendelpher
Rosa Marie Longendelpher wife of George Longendelpher and daughter of Oran and Anna Fletcher was born in Covington, Ohio, Nov. 10, 1895. She died at her home in Covington Nov. 17, 1926 at the age of thirty-one years and seven days. She spent the greater part of her life in this place. She united with the Christian Church when yet a girl. She was married to George Longendelpher May 5, 1915. To this union were born seven children one of whom died in infancy. To say that she was the mother of seven children six of whom live and depend on the care of the mother is to tell something of this story of sacrifice. What greater tribute can be paid to her than to say that she was a loving mother. Her health has not been robust for sometime but she managed to keep going and with it all she was uncomplaining. Her last sickness came upon her about three weeks before the end came. She leaves to mourn her departure her husband, six children, Vera June, Melvin, George Jr., Beulah May, Glen and Jimmie, also her father and mother and many other relatives and friends.
"Unveil thy bosom faithful tomb;
Take this new treasure to thy trust
And give these sacred relics room
To slumber into the silent dust."
