Bradford Resident Suddenly Called
Mrs. Rose Katherman
Passes Sunday Following Heart Attack.
Rites Wednesday.
Mrs. Rose Katherman, wife of E.W. Katherman, passed away at her home on West Elm Street, Bradford, Sunday evening following a heart attack. She was 59 years of age. Mrs. Katherman had been in ill health for several years although her condition was not considered serious and her sudden death came as a shock to her friends and relatives. There are no children and the bereaved husband is the only near surviving relative. Funeral services have been arranged for Wednesday afternoon. A brief service will be conducted at the residence at 1:00 o'clock, and at the Methodist Church of which she was a member, at 2:00 o'clock. Her pastor, Rev. H. C. Colliflower, will officiate. Interment will be made in the Harris Creek Cemetery.

Rose Katherman, the daughter of Mercer and Lydia Penny, was born in Darke County, Ohio, August 12, 1875. She was united in marriage to E. W. Katherman November 18, 1894. She was united with the Methodist Episcopal Church of Bradford approximately fifteen years ago and remained a member until her death February 17, 1935. Mrs. Katherman was expecting to entertain the Mothers Class of which she was a member, on March 2nd, but another summons came and she answered it laying down her duties for some one else to perform. She was a charter member of the Pocahontas Lodge if Covington, Ohio. Mrs. Katherman was the last of a family of eight children, the others having preceded her to the great beyond. She was a kind companion and affectionate wife. She made many friends through lifes journey. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband and many other relatives.
