Death Comes Suddenly For Mrs. Don Hill, wife of Kroger Manager
Dies Tuesday Evening Following Sudden Illness
Mrs. Lorena Hill, wife of Mr. Don Hill, manager of the Kroger store in Covington, passed away very suddenly Tuesday evening at 5 o'clock at her home on South Wall Street. Mrs. Hill was ill only a few hours before her death which was attributed to pulmonary embolism. Previously she was considered to be in the best of health. She was 34 years of age. Mrs. Hill was born and reared in Covington and was graduated from the local high school. She has been a devout and helpful member of the St. John's Lutheran Church since childhood. She was an active member of the Mission Study Class and the Ladies Aid and Missionary Society. Surviving besides her grief-stricken husband are three children, Betty Ruth, Richard and Tommy. A sister and brother Mrs. Mary Brandt, of Newark and Frank O'Donnell of Troy. She also leaves a wide acquaintance of friends who are saddened over the news of her unexpected death. Funeral services have been arranged for Friday afternoon at two o'clock at the Lutheran church with Rev. H. C. TerVehn, of Coschocton, a former pastor, officiating. Interment will be made in the Highland Cemetery under the direction of Walter E. Routzahn. During the funeral services, the buisness houses of Covington will remain closed as a token of respect for the family.

Lorena O'Donnell Hill
Lorena O'Donnell Hill was born November 23rd 1900 and died suddenly on March 5, 1935 having reached the are of 34 years, 3 months and 12 days. She was the daughter of George M. O'Donnell and wife Margaret Steinhilber O'Donnell, who preceded her in death. She was baptized in infancy and became a confirmed member of the St. John's Lutheran Church on Pentecost 1915. On June 26, 1920 she was united in marriage with Donovan J. Hill. Surviving besides her husband are three children, Don Richard 13, Betty Ruth 12 and Thomas Franklin, 20 months old; one sister, Mrs. Walter M. Brandt of Newark and one brother Frank O'Donnell of Troy, a large number of relatives and a host of friends. Lorena was a god mother, always interested in the welfare of her children on the care of her home. Always a devout and faithful member of the church, she will be sorely missed. She was a member of the Mission Study Class and the Ladies Aid and Missionary Society, a regular attendant at Sunday School and church and for a number of years the very efficient Superintendent of the Light of Brigade.
