Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth McVity, wife of David McVity passed away at her home on 424 Ludlow St., Wednesday afternoon, having suffered a stroke about ten days age. She was a highly respected citizen, a kind neighbor and friend and a much beloved member of her family. she lived a long and useful life of some seventy-nine years, and leaves to mourn her departure her husband, one son, Clyde McVity. An only daughter Bessie preceded her in death 17 years ago. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at the home at 1:30 o'clock and at the Church of the Brethren, of which she was a member, at 2:00 o'clock with Rev. McKee and Rev. Wine officiating. Burial will be made in Highland Cemetery in charge of Geo. W. Miller.
