George Draher Sr.
Dies After Stroke Thursday Night.
Father of George Draher Succumbs to Illness Following Stroke. Rites
Sunday.
Mr. George Draher, father of George Draher Jr. of this place, passed away last evening at 8:03 P.M. at his home, 2 miles west of Bradford following an illness of 5 years duration. He was 59 years of age. Mr. Draher suffered a paralytic stroke 5 years ago and has been in failing health since that time having been a victim of several strokes during the period. The last one was suffered on April 16th which terminated in his death. The deceased was a prominent Darke County farmer having resided practically all his life in the vicinity of Bradford where he leaves a wide circle of friends. He was a member of the Brethren Church. Surviving besides the widow Mrs. Bertha Draher, also a victim of paralysis and four children, one daughter, Jane at home and three sons, Canada of Piqua, Don of Detroit, and George of Covington, and a number of other relatives. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at the late residence and burial will be made in the Harris Creek Cemetery.
