Father Dies At Troy Tuesday
William E. Sarver, father of Jack H. Sarver of N. Pearl St., Covington, passed away Tuesday evening at 6:20 at the home of his daughter in Troy.
Mr. Sarver had been ill for the past three years with a heart ailment which confined him to his bed for the last seven weeks. Surviving are three daughters, Miss Orabelle with whom he resided, Mrs. R.D. Hartman also of Troy, and Mrs. C.C. Patton of New Paris, two sons Charles of Troy, and Jack H. of Covington. A brother Isaac of Laura, 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. His wife died in May 1934. Funeral services will be held from the late residence at 928 Wheeler St., at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon and at 3:15 from the Quincy Methodist Church. Rev. Robert Kennedy will be in charge and burial will be made in Quincy. Friends may call at the residence from Thursday noon until time of funeral.
