Mrs. J. M. Petersime Dies This Morning
Mrs. Lydia Petersime, wife of Mr. Joe Petersime prominent business man of Covington, passed away this morning at 8:30 o'clock at her home on Pearl St., following an extended illness due to cancer. Mrs. Petersime had been in delicate health for the past 18 years of her life and was bedfast 6 weeks prior to her death. She was 67 years of age. The deceased was a devout Christian and held her membership at the Covington Christian church although her health did not permit her to be as active as she desired. Beside the bereaved husband Mr. Joe Petersime, she is survived by two sons, Rev. Forrest H. Petersime of Lodi, California and Harley G. Petersime of Covington and three grandsons, Dale and Harland of Covington, and Robert of California. A number of other relatives and many friends by whom she was highly esteemed also survive. Funeral services have been arranged for Saturday morning and will be conducted at the late residence at 10 o'clock with Rev. Cecil Leek, her pastor, officiating. Interment will be made in the Versailles cemetery under the direction of Walter E. Routzahn.
