Extended Illness Ends Thursday
Heart Trouble Causes Death of Bertha Ganger Thursday
at her home southwest Of Covington.
An extended illness due to heart trouble ended Thursday afternoon at 3:40 o'clock when Mrs. Bertha Ganger, wife of Mr. William Ganger passed away at her home southwest of Covington. She was 64 years of age. The deceased had been in failing health for more than 3 years and had been confined to her home since last June. She was a devout member of the Congregational Christian Church. Surviving besides the husband is a foster daughter, Miss Jane Ganger and a sister, Mrs. Homer Shellabarger and a number of other relatives and a wide aquaintance of friends in this community and the vicinity of Bradford where she has resided all her life. Funeral services have been arranged for Monday afternoon, meeting at the residence for a brief service at 1:30 o'clock and at the Congregational Christian Church at 2 o'clock. Dr. O. S. Thomas will officiate assisted by Rev. Cecil Leek. Interment will be made in the Highland Cemetery with Walter E. Routzahn, funeral director in charge.
