Mr. Brecount was born in Conover, April 1, 1857, and lived all his life in that village. He was the youngest of three sons of Mr. and Mrs. John D Brecount. He had been associated with his brother, George, and Joseph Wolcott in the grain business at Conover for twenty years. At the last election he was made a director of the Piqua Home Telephone company. A wife and a daughter, beside scores of friends in Piqua, Miami county, and among the grain men of the country will mourn the loss of a worthy man.
