George W. Aspinall
George William, son of William and Elisabeth Aspinall, was born near Covington, January 8, 1857, and departed from this life March 17, 1927, at the age of 70 years, 2 months and 11 days. George was born on the old home place of his parents where he has spent his entire life. He was the youngest of a family of seven children four girls and three boys, all of whom have now passed away with the exception of one sister, Mrs. Martha Lindsey, in whose home he had taken dinner and where shortly after he was so suddenly stricken in death. In his boyhood he united with the Presbyterian Church in Covington. Later in life he attended the Christian Church. He was a member of I. O. O. F. No. 8 of Piqua. For several years he has been in declining health, suffering from a paralytic stroke during the past year and from which there was no hopes of recovery. Realizing this he became desirous for the end of the journey of life. During his sickness he received the kind attention of relatives and neighbors. His brothers of the lodge have also been very faithful in their visits administering help whenever needed. He leaves one sister and many relatives who will now miss him from the old home place where they have come for many years.
