Darke County Farmer Dies Sunday
Funeral Services for Daniel Deeter
to be Held at Abbottsville Wednesday Morning
Daniel D. Deeter, one of the oldest citizens of Van Buren Township passed away Sunday morning sometime between the hours of 12 and 3 A. M. at the age of 80 years. He has been in failing health for sometime but seemingly no worse at Midnight so his wife retired and at 3 a.m. she, wanting to find out whether he was wanting any attention, and found he had passed away. He leaves his aged wife, 1 son George Deeter of Richmond, Ind., 1 step-son, Arthur Warner at home, five daughters, Martha Landis of Covington, Mrs. Lizzie Deeter, address not known, Mrs. Hattie Miller of Tipp City, Miss Virginia Deeter at home, Mrs. Mabel Fourman of Arcanum, also 3 step-daughters, Mrs. Allie Warner of Laura, Mrs. Tillie Rhoades of Greenville and Mrs. Laura Peas of California, he also has three brothers. Funeral services will be held at Abbottsville church, Wednesday morning at 10:30. Burial in the Abbotsville Cemetery, Rev. Roy Honeyman officiating, funeral arrangements in charge of Miller Brothers Undertakers at Gettysburg, Ohio.
