Mrs. Lida Evilsizer
Lida Foose, daughter of Charlie and Fannie Foose, was born in Nelsonville, Ohio, Feb. 13, 1891. She departed this life in Memorial Hospital at Piqua, Ohio, Nov. 13, 1928, aged 37 years, 9 months. She was the youngest of a family of four children. Her parents died when she was placed in The Sailor's and Orphan's Home in Xenia, Ohio. At the age of 17, while at the home she accepted Christ and united with the First M. E. Church of Xenia, Ohio, and still held membership in this church at the time of her death. She was united in marriage December 25, 1916 to Marshall Evilsizer, to this union were born five children, Frances age 11; Mary 9; Marjorie 7; Lewis 5; and Alberta age 21 months, all of whom survive. The family resided in Springfield 7 years, in Troy 4 years and moving to Pleasant Hill in Aug. 1927. She was a devoted mother and wife and will be greatly missed by all. She leaves to mourn her loss, two brothers, one sister, five children, the husband, and a large circle of friends. The family wishes to express their thanks to the neighbors and friends for their many kindnesses during the illness and death of the mother, also to the Staff of Memorial Hospital for their excellent services.
