    ALECK JOHNSON PASSES AWAY AT TIPP CITY HOME
    END COMES SUNDAY AFTERNOON FOR 93-YEAR-OLD RESIDENT FUNERAL TUESDAY AFTERNOON

    Tippecanoe City, Aug 31 - At 1 o'clock Sunday morning, Aleck Johnson succumbed to the infirmities of old age at the home of his grandson, Harry Miller, on West Main street. Had he lived 14 days longer, he would have been 93 years of age.

    Mr. and Mrs. Johnson came here from Phoneton and resided on West Broadway until the death of Mrs. Johnson, 10 years ago, when he went to make his home with his grandson.

    Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ella Hoover, who also makes her home with her son, Harry Miller, and a brother, Frank Johnson, living south of Dayton.

    Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon from the Methodist church in charge of Dr. W.  L. Guard of Urbana, and the body will be laid to rest in Maple Hill cemetery.
