Anna Amelia Brown, wife of Reuben Brown, deceased was born on March 24th, 1848 and died October 24th, 1927 having reached the age of 79 years and seven months.
She was the daughter of Joseph and Esther Wogaman and was born near Horatio, Ohio. She was the sixth in a family of seven children none of whom survive her.

Keiser of Troy, Ira R. of Dayton, and Mrs. Flora M. of Covington. Until 1886 they lived at Horatio, Darke Co. At this time they moved to a farm which they had purchased in Laramie Twp., Shelby Co. Here they made their abode until they retired from the farm in 1908, when they moved to Versailles.
Her husband preceded her in death in 1921. During the last four years of her life, she made her home with her children.
In 1891 mother Brown was received into the fellowship of the First Lutheran Church. After moving to Versailles she had her membership transferred to the Trinity Lutheran Church in which church she remained until her life's close.
She leaves to mourn her going, her six children, seventeen grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. Her quiet useful life will be missed.
