Funeral services were held at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon for Mrs. Nancy Jane Branson, prominent Covington resident and former school board member, who died at the Covington hospital Saturday afternoon. She had been ill several months. The services were held at the Congregational Christian Church with Rev. W. A. Freeman in charge. Burial was made in Highland cemetery, Covington. Mrs. Branson was the daughter of the late Joseph and Maria Lawrence and spent her entire life in the vicinity of Covington. Surviving relatives include her husband, three sons, Albert, at home, Elmer of near Covington, and Arthur of Cleveland; one brother, Joseph Lawrence of Greenville, and two sisters, Mrs. Elwood Coate of Warren, Indy, and Mrs. Kiefer Cecil of east of Pleasant Hill.

WIFE OF FARMER IS CLAIMED BY DEATH
MRS. NANCY JANE BRANSON SUCCUMBS AT COVINGTON HOSPITAL SATURDAY
Mrs. Nancy Jane Branson, wife of John H Branson, well-known farmer of Miami county and former member of the County Board of Education, died at the Covington Hospital, Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock after a lingering illness of several years. Mrs. Branson was very popular with a wide circle of friends in this community where she lived all her life. She is survived by her husband; three sons, Albert, who is at home north of Covington, Elmer of near Piqua, and Arthur of Cleveland; her grandchildren, Ruth and Robert Branson; two sisters, Mrs. Cecelia Coate of Warren, Indiana, and Mrs. Cecil of Pleasant Hill and one brother, Joseph Lawrence of Greenville. Funeral services have been arranged for Tuesday afternoon, 2:30 o'clock, at the Covington Congregational Christian Church with Rev W A Freeman officiating. Burial will be held at the Covington Highland cemetery.

Mrs. Branson Dies At Local Hospital
Mrs. Nancy Jane Branson, 72, wife of John H. Branson passed away at the Covington hospital at 3:00 o'clock Saturday afternoon of an illness of several months.Mrs. Branson was the daughter of the late Joseph and Maria Lawrence and lived her entire life in this community. She was a member of the Congregational Christian church and attended faithfully when her health would permit. Surviving the deceased besides her husband are three sons, Albert who resided at home, Elmer of east of Covington, and Arthur of Cleveland, a brother Joseph Lawrence of Greenville, and two sisters, Mrs. Elwood Coate of Warren Ind. and Mrs. Kifer Cecil of east of Pleasant Hill. Funeral services will be held at the Congregational Christian Church at 2:30 Tuesday afternoon with Rev. W. A.. Freeman officiating. Interment in Highland Cemetery. Mr. George Miller funeral director. Buried in the Highland Cemetery, Covington, on 17 May 1932
