MOTHER OF TROJAN SUCCUMBS TO ACUTE INDIGESTION
SECOND DEATH IN FLETCHER HOME IN TWENTY-FOUR HOURS
Mrs. Wilmina Kemp, 69, well known Fletcher woman and mother of Warren B. Kemp of Troy, died at 3:30 am Thursday at the Mrs. Elizabeth Suber home in Fletcher. Death came as a shock to her family and friends as she was apparently in good health when she retired Wednesday evening. She was ill only about three hours. Death was due to acute indigestion, the physician who was called stated. Her death was the second to occur in this home within 24 hours. Mrs. Suber, for whom Mrs. Kemp had been caring for some time, died at 6:30 am Wednesday.
The decedent was a native of Brown township and the greater part of her life was spent there. She was the daughter of Charles and Sarah J. Search and was born Jan. 19, 1858. July 28, 1875 she was united in marriage with Benjamin Franklin Kemp who preceded her in death 12 years ago. To them was born the one son who survives. She is also survived by one granddaughter, Mrs. Ernest Rogers of Troy, and one sister, Mrs. Olivene Brecount of Piqua. Mrs. Kemp was a member of the Fletcher Presbyterian church and of the Rebekah lodge of that city. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon from the Presbyterian church in Fletcher, her pastor, the Rev Franklin Goetsch, officiating.
