Covington, Oct. 23. -- Felt Nicodemus, 84, well-known retired blacksmith of Clayton died at the home of his son, Homer Nicodemus, one mile Northwest of this village at noon Sunday following one week's illness. Death was attributed to complications.
Following his retirement from his trade a number of years ago, he with his late wife moved from Clayton to a farm adjoining his son and a year ago, after his wife's death, he removed to his son's home. He was a member of the Clayton Christian Church which was a week ago abandoned.
Survivors include the son Homer, a daughter, Mrs. Harley Arnett, residing West of Covington and a brother, Jacob, of Springfield.
Rites will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Eshelman Funeral home with interment in Union Cemetery.
