Mrs. Jennie Powell

Mrs. Jennie Powell passed away Thursday at ten o'clock at the home of her son, Daniel Powell west of Greenville Falls. Mrs. Powell was the wife of David Powell who preceded her in death five years ago. Twenty five years ago, she with her husband and family came from Pennsylvania to Covington where she spent the remainder of her life in this vicinity. Since Mr. Powell's death she spent a part of her time with her children. On February the 26th she went to her son Daniel's to spend a couple of weeks with them. On the seventh of March she took seriously ill with pneumonia and in ten days passed peacefully away. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon, meeting at the house at one o'clock, at the Greenville Creek Church at two o'clock. Burial in the Greenville Creek Cemetery.
