Harry A. Bright, 70, was found dead in his home in Christiansburg by his brother, Cory, at 9 a.m. Tuesday. It was believed Mr. Bright may have been dead for approximately 24 hours.
Following an investigation, Dr. C. E. Thompson, Champaign County coroner, gave the cause of death as heart disease.
Born in Miami County, Mr. Bright was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Adam Bright. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge of Springfield. Surviving is a son, Earl Bright of Springfield; a sister, Mrs. Minnie Studebaker, Christiansburg; two brothers, Adus of Springfield and Cory of Christiansburg; also two grandchildren, Pfc. Kirk Bright of Florida, and Mrs. Marcia Kirkpatrick of Springfield.
The body was taken to the Richeson funeral home, St. Paris, and will be returned Thursday night to the residence of Mrs. Studebaker here, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday by the Rev. E. L. Detweiler. Burial will be in Casstown Cemetery.
